Owner / Project Manager

Brian Bax

Brian founded Aubrey Co. with a passion for creating outdoor spaces, using landscape design as a creative outlet where craftsmanship, design, and artistry come together. Bubbling boulders are his favorite feature to incorporate, but what matters most is making sure every client knows they're more than just another project. Brian genuinely cares about the people he works with and takes pride in creating landscapes they'll enjoy for years to come.

Away from the job site, Brian enjoys making memories with his family and kids and soaking up every moment he can with them. When he's not with family, you might find him at karaoke singing Give Me One Reason by Tracy Chapman. Whether he's creating memories at home or bringing a client's vision to life, Brian puts his heart into everything he does.

Landscape Designer

Brystal Jones

Brystal loves helping homeowners bring their vision to life and create outdoor spaces they'll enjoy for years to come. She earned her degree in Plant Science from the University of Missouri, along with a minor in Agribusiness Management and a Certificate in Landscape Design. Whether she's creating thoughtful landscape designs or helping customers choose the right plants, Brystal enjoys making every project both beautiful and functional.

Outside of work, Brystal enjoys spending time with family, visiting the shooting range, and cheering on the St Louis. Cardinals. Her favorite tree is the Seven-Son Flower Tree, thanks to its unique blooms and year-round interest.

Hardscape Foreman

Addam Scott

With 29 years of experience in the landscaping industry, he loves helping homeowners create outdoor spaces they'll enjoy for years to come. From small projects to custom outdoor living spaces, he knows it's the little details that make a lasting impression.

At home, you'll usually find him spending time with his family, fishing, enjoying the outdoors, or unwinding with a good video game. His favorite projects are paver patios and pondless waterfalls, and if there's room for a Blue Atlas Cedar, he'll probably be the first to recommend it.

Landscaper

Aaron Millis

Aaron has been building outdoor spaces since 2012, starting with in-ground pool construction before expanding into landscaping and hardscaping. From pools to large landscape and hardscape projects, he has the experience to bring almost any outdoor vision to life.

When he's not at work, Aaron enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially his 7-year-old daughter, Madilyn, who means the world to him. His favorite tree is the Weeping Willow, and if he had to pick a favorite project, it would be designing and building a beautiful paver patio with a cozy fire pit, the perfect place to gather and make memories.

Landscaper

Kyle Novak

With over five years of landscaping experience, he enjoys transforming outdoor spaces into places where families can relax and make lasting memories. His favorite part of the job is working alongside a great team, staying active outdoors, and bringing each client's vision to life.

Outside of work, he played professional hockey and still brings that same teamwork and dedication to every project. A big fan of Japanese Maples and the beauty of water features, he's always excited to help create landscapes that are both functional and unforgettable.

Van Gertken

Van's favorite projects are retaining walls, where he enjoys combining craftsmanship with problem-solving to create beautiful, long-lasting outdoor spaces. He enjoys working with a great team, taking on landscaping challenges, and continuously learning new skills. Easy to talk to and open-minded, Van values creating quality work and leaving clients happy with the finished result.

Van’s favorite tree is a Japanese Maple and when he’s not landscaping, you’ll find him behind the lens, editing videos that range from personal music projects to outdoor fishing adventures.

Patrick Alleman

Patrick enjoys building paver patios, where he combines craftsmanship and creativity to create beautiful outdoor spaces. While pursuing his degree in Physical Therapy, he works at Aubrey Co., taking pride in delivering quality work and helping create landscapes customers can enjoy for years to come.

Outside of work, Patrick enjoys training in kickboxing and jujutsu, where he continues to challenge himself both physically and mentally. When it comes to plants, his favorite is the Desert Aloe, a tough, resilient plant that stands out from the rest.

Kristian Solis

Kristian loves helping homeowners transform their outdoor spaces with beautiful landscaping and hardscaping, treating every project like it's his own. With a strong attention to detail, his goal is to make sure every client is thrilled with the finished result.

Outside of work, you'll find him at the gym or enjoying his favorite meal: a Triple Dipper from Chili's. If he could have any superpower, he'd choose immortality so he could keep creating great landscapes for eternity.
